The Scrabble Bash is another annual event that is promoted to improve brain health and memory to prevent and/or delay the onset of dementia. The Scrabble Bash has been held from the year 2009 and continues to date. Before LAF got its own premises at the current location, tournaments were held at the Barefoot and at the Dutch Burgher Union. LAF conducts the scrabble bash with the active guidance and support of Shaila Amalean and her team who provide their services on a voluntary basis.
